To start off, my name is Nate, and I am a junior at the University of Cincinnati. I have decided to put together this blog because next year for my senior year of college I will be studying in Torino, Italy for the entire year, and wanted a way to share my experiences with family and friends alike. I find that in life being able to share awesome experiences with your friends and family can create happiness and great opportunities among people. Therefore, because of this I am very excited to have the chance to share my thoughts and experiences with everyone, Pensieri di Nate means "Nate's thoughts" in Italian, and that will be what my blog will contain, and I hope you will enjoy.
There are a few things that I want to share about myself, as I feel they might help with understanding why I will upload and talk about random things on this blog. First off, I value spending time with my family and friends very highly, and I draw a lot of energy from the people around me. Another important thing about myself would be that I enjoy spending time outdoors. I find that the more time I spend outside in nature, the more I realize how amazing God is. This might sound weird, but the truth is that all of the natural beauty on this planet was created by God, and the more time I spend around that natural beauty, the more I enjoy soaking it up. Although it might sound crazy, food is something in my life that holds a great value (especially Chipotle and Pizza), and I love having a great conversation with people over a big burrito or a couple slices of pizza. Humor is something else that I value and keep closely around me. If you know me you can validate this, but you will always find me laughing about something, posting funny YouTube videos, and watching funny commercials over and over again. I feel that laughter is something that can fix a lot of problems, and something that is universal among all people. Above all of these things and something that will flavor many of the posts that I will have on this blog is my faith. My faith in the Lord Jesus Christ has changed my life and brought much happiness and success to my life, and for that reason I spend as much of my time as possible glorifying God.
